Safe Melt is an all-natural environmentally friendly ice melter made from the by-products of the forestry industry added to a base of calcium. Granular Safe Melt can prevent the bonding of ice and snow on surfaces. It is non-toxic, water soluble and biodegradable. Pre-treatment with Safe Melt prevents ice from bonding to surfaces.
Safer than Salt® is a granular snow and ice melting product coated with a safety blue color. Its formula is a proprietary blend of Calcium Chloride, Magnesium Chloride and Sodium Chloride. It is safer for use on brick and concrete, safe for pets, and melts fast at temperatures down to -25 degrees F.
Mr. Magic® Premium Ice Melt is also a granular snow ice melting product effective down to -25 degrees F. One application lasts up to 24 hours. Mr. Magic is safety orange in color, coated with “CMA” (calcium magnesium acetate) to protect wood and concrete from damage.
Merlin Melts Like Magic has a brilliant purple coating for easy visualization, is CMA coated to be safer to use around vegetation, pets and hardscaping, and is effective at very low temperatures.
