IB Deicing Liquid – Reduce Salt Usage

 

IB Deicing Liquid is an all-natural environmentally friendly deicing liquid made from the by-products of the forestry industry added to a base of calcium.   IB Deicing Liquid can prevent the bonding of ice and snow on surfaces.  It is non-toxic, water soluble, biodegradable, and non corrosive.  IB Deicing Liquid is also a rust inhibitor. Treat your salt piles with IB Deicing Liquid and you can reduce your salt usage by 30-50% when used as a coated product during salting operations. Use with on-board pre-wetting systems to enhance your salt at spinner for faster melting when it’s too cold for regular salt.

How IB Deicing Liquid Works

Before Precipitation: Our direct application blend of IB deicing liquid can be spray or drip applied hours before a storm to create a nonstick coating on the pavement to prevent the bonding of ice and snow on surfaces. Plowing operations will become easier to maintain and snow pack roadways will be a thing of the past with this pre-treatment.

Our coated salt blend of IB deicing liquid can be sprayed onto bulk salt piles creating a coated salt that melts down to -20 degrees.

Pretreat roadways and surfaces with the treated salt crystals and stay ahead of the anticipated precipitation, starting the melting process from the bottom up.

 
During Precipitation:  Apply our treated salt to your roadways and surfaces with sanders during and after plowing events. Use IB Deicing Liquid with on board pre-wetting systems and inject at the spinner to enhance the salt product during colder temperatures.

This product will give you longer melting and the longest residuals on the market today which becomes a savings of your time and money.
